My Name is John McDonald. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

I am a fourth year electrical Engineering student at the University of Calgary, I also happen to like taking photos.

The original purpose of this blog was to document the mundane/exciting experiences of my daily life. Alas, taking a photo a day can be much more challenging than I once thought. The majority of my photos for this blog are taken with a 50mm lens, f/1.4.  I like the fixed focal length, because it forces the photographer to frame the photo, ultimately giving the perspective of that individual.
